This is<br>\nan Instant Pot Dump and Start recipe, so it&#8217;s really simple to make.<br>\nHealthy doesn&#8217;t have to be boring. Anything taco flavored isn&#8217;t dull in my<br>\nbook! I like quinoa, but without great flavors to add to it, I wouldn\u2019t eat it.<br>\nIt&#8217;s got to have flavors!<br>\nQuinoa is a lot like rice or tofu in the way it takes on the flavors you add<br>\nto it. Instant Pot Quinoa Taco Bowls have a balanced quinoa base and tasty<br>\ntacos!<br>\nCooking quinoa in the Instant Pot is simple and quick. It just has one<br>\nminute of cooking time and 15 minutes of Natural Release time.<br>\nI love the fact that all the ingredients cook together in the Instant Pot at<br>\nthe same time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>From Ayurvedic Point of View:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quinoa is an ancient seed that provides an excellent source of protein. It<br>\nis closely linked to beetroots, spinach, and tumbleweeds. Quinoa balances<br>\nall the Doshas. Those wanting to balance Vata should consume it with a<br>\nlittle bit of healthy olive oil or ghee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Servings: 5<br>\nTime to Prepare: 30 minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color\">Ingredients:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>1 cup quinoa (rinsed)<br>\n1 1\/4 cup water<br>\n1 cup salsa<br>\n2 tbsp. fresh Lime Juice (about 1\/2 a lime)<br>\n1 tsp. garlic powder<br>\n1 tsp. oregano<br>\n1 tsp. cumin<br>\n1 tsp. chili powder<br>\n1 tsp. kosher salt (or 1\/2 tbsp. table salt)<br>\n1\/4 tsp. pepper<br>\n1 (15 oz) can black beans (drained &amp; rinsed)<br>\n1 (15 oz) can corn (drained)<br>\nFor Topping<br>\nCilantro<br>\nSour cream<br>\nJalape\u00f1o<br>\nShredded cheese<br>\nAvocado<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color\">Instructions:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>In order specified, add all the Ingredients to the Pot and put the<br>\nlid on. Place the vapor release knob to the Sealing position.<\/li><li>Click the Pressure Cook\/Manual button, then press the + \/-<br>\nbutton or dial to select 1 minute at High Pressure.<\/li><li>When the cooking period is over, turn the Pot off and let it sit<br>\nundisturbed for 15 minutes. Manually remove any residual<br>\npressure by turning the steam remove knob to the Venting<br>\nposition.<\/li><li>Fluff with a fork and serve with any garnish you like.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Notes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>For refrigeration, put the garnishes\/toppings in a separate<br>\ncontainer. And split the quinoa equally between five meal<br>\nstorage containers. Keep it refrigerated.<\/li><li>Microwave for 1 to 2 minutes to reheat, stirring halfway<br>\nthrough.
