As<br>\nversatile as they are tasty, dals and lentils are used to make salads,<br>\nappetizers, soups, main dishes, side dishes, and desserts, too. They fit<br>\nwell with other foods, such as grain, vegetables, herbs, and spices.<br>\nMushrooms have an earthy flavor like a dark, rich, loamy soil. That<br>\nearthiness is a symbol of the Potential of the mushrooms to hold you<br>\ngrounded and calm your nervous system. They are called Tamasic in<br>\nAyurveda, implying that they make the consciousness sleepy.<br>\nMushrooms are particularly absorbent minerals in the soil, along with a<br>\nrich nutritional profile, as their earthy flavor indicates. As well as<br>\nmushrooms consume minerals, they even accumulate any toxins<br>\nthey&#8217;re grown in, and have also been used to clean up toxins waste sites.<br>\nThat&#8217;s why you should always consume organic mushrooms.<br>\nAyurveda considers onion and garlic more than food. As a result, onions<br>\nand garlic are known as blood purifiers in Ayurveda. While garlic has<br>\ncuring properties, onions have cooling properties and are a perfect summer<br>\nsnack. Onions are sweet in flavor and help promote better digestion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Servings: 6<br>\nTime to Prepare: 20 minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color\">Ingredients:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>8 oz mushrooms (finely chopped)<br>\nSalt and pepper to taste<br>\n6 cups mixed beans, (drained and cooked) (I used a 15 oz can<br>\ncannellini beans, a 15 oz can kidney beans, and a 15 oz can<br>\nblack-eyed peas)<br>\n1 batch sugar-free BBQ sauce<br>\n1 tsp. mustard<br>\n15 oz tomato sauce<br>\n1 cup onions (chopped)<br>\n2 tsp. liquid smoke (optional)<br>\n1 tsp. chili powder (optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color\">Instructions:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>First, heat a little oil (or vegetable broth for cooking oil-free).<br>\nAdd the onions and mushrooms and cook them for about 3<br>\nminutes.<\/li><li>Then it&#8217;s time to bring the beans, BBQ sauce, tomato sauce,<br>\nmustard, and optional items including liquid smoke, and chili<br>\npowder; a pinch of salt and pepper, of course.<\/li><li>Cook for around 10 minutes on medium heat.
