I<br>\nhave found that whether you Pressure Cook lentils or beans, you get the<br>\nadditional advantage of having lentils significantly decreased compared<br>\nwith regular stove-top cooking. This can be a great interest to people with<br>\nlentil or autoimmune sensitivities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>From Ayurvedic Point of View:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For vegetarians, beans, dals, and lentils are an essential source of nutrition<br>\n\u2014protein, complex carbohydrates, fiber, and vitamins. As versatile as they<br>\nare tasty, dals and lentils are used to make salads, appetizers, soups, main<br>\ndishes, side dishes, and desserts, too. They fit well with other foods, such<br>\nas grain, vegetables, herbs, and spices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Servings: 4<br>\nTime to Prepare: 25 minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color\">Ingredients:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>2 1\/2 cups vegetable broth<br>\n1 tsp. each, dried oregano and thyme<br>\n2 medium carrots (chopped)<br>\n1 head of celery (chopped)<br>\n1 medium zucchini (chopped)<br>\n1 cup lentils (rinsed)<br>\nSalt and pepper to taste<br>\n1\/2 fresh lemon for topping<br>\nDairy-free yogurt and fresh chives (optional, for topping)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color\">Instructions:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Add the lentils, the chopped carrots, the chopped zucchini, the<br>\nchopped celery, the broth, the dried oregano, and the dried<br>\nthyme in a 6 or 8-quarter Pot.<\/li><li>Lock on the lid and cook for 15 minutes.<\/li><li>If the soup is cooked, relieve the pressure by Quick Release, or<br>\nlet it come down naturally.<\/li><li>Remove the lid and stir the soup.
