Make this easy yet tasty breakfast any day of the week<br>\nin your Electric Pressure Cooker.<br>\nFrom Ayurvedic Point of View:<br>\nRipe pumpkins , according to Ayurveda, will reduce the energy of Pitta<br>\nand help stabilize Vata. While the pumpkin is quite cooling, this quality is<br>\nreduced when cooked with ghee in particular. Unripe pumpkins should be<br>\navoided because they will make all the three Doshas worse and are tough<br>\nto digest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Servings: 4<br>\nTime to Prepare: 25 minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color\">Ingredients:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>2 cups water<br>\n\u00bd cup pumpkin puree<br>\n2 cups rolled old fashioned oats<br>\n1 \u00be cup coconut milk<br>\n1\/4 tsp. vanilla extract<br>\n\u00bd cup maple syrup<br>\n1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice<br>\nChopped pecans for topping<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color\">Instructions:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Add one cup of water to the Pressure Cooker. To boil the water,<br>\npress the Saut\u00e9 button.<\/li><li>In between, add oats, another cup of water, coconut milk,<br>\npumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and maple<br>\nsyrup to the steamer. Stir and cover it.<\/li><li>Press Cancel on the Instant Pot and place the covered steamer<br>\ninsert directly into the Pressure Cooker.<\/li><li>Cover the Pressure Cooker and cook at High Pressure for 8<br>\nminutes.<\/li><li>When the timer is off, allow the Pressure Cooker to naturally<br>\nrelease for 5 minutes, and then release the remaining pressure.<\/li><li>Take the oatmeal from the pressurized cooker and stir. Top with<br>\nsome sliced pecans.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Notes<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>If this is done directly in a Pot without a steamer basket, skip 1<br>\ncup of water and reduce the pressure to 4-5 minutes for rolled<br>\noats.<\/li><li>If you hate pumpkin, this recipe can be modified into plain<br>\noatmeal.
